This is from the Irish Progressive, vol. 1, no. 3 (13 March 1984), a Galway-based magazine which lasted less than a year. The photos are from the same Peter Taaffe meeting in the Atlanta Hotel as the photos on the other page, and I'd imagine that the article was prompted by the very large attendance at that meeting (as well as the general topicality of the issue). One of the authors of the piece, Mike Allen, was subsequently general secretary of the Labour Party - though not to my knowledge a party member in 1984. The first page gives a general flavour of the magazine as well as editorialising on subjects raised in the 3 page article further below.
